Pakistan is caught in the horns of dilemma between grave environmental threats and energy shortfalls. Environmental change and energy infrastructure are two separate but closely interlinked challenges. While Internalizing of environmental externalities is imperative for pursuing a sustainable energy system, measures shall be taken for identification and valuation of external cost of various energy sources.
